How to remove HDD on HP Compaq Presario CQ35 (with Pictures)

Having problem with your HP Compaq Notebook? Like the Hard disk drive is not detected and need to be replaced. Here's and example of an error code.

This product is covered by one or more of the following patens:
US5, 307, 459, US5, 434,872, US5,732,094, US6,570,884, US6,115,776 and US6,327,625
For Realtek TRL8101E/8102E(L)/8103E(L) PCI-E Ethernet Controller v1.12 (080904)
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM.
No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key

Here's how to do it.

1. Shutdown your Notebook
2. Unplug the Power Cord and Remove the Battery
3. Loosen the screws from the Hard Drive Cover

Remove HDD from Laptop

4. Remove the rubber lock to keep the Hard Drive in tight


5. After removing the rubber, push the HDD to the right. Then pull the Hard Disk Drive.





Now you are ready to install a brand new Hard Disk Drive to your HP Compaq notebook.
